Handok has launched the professional version of its continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system, ‘Barozen Fit.’ The new model retains the specifications of the original product while adding a blind mode feature, enabling healthcare professionals to analyze patient glucose data objectively.

The blind mode records continuous glucose measurements without displaying real-time values to the patient, ensuring that only medical staff can access the data. This minimizes behavioral changes or psychological influences that could distort results, allowing for an accurate assessment of natural daily glucose patterns. The feature is particularly valuable for physician consultations, evaluating treatment response before and after therapy initiation, patient education, and research purposes.

The strengths of the original Barozen Fit remain unchanged. It does not require mandatory calibration, allowing optional adjustments when needed. The sensor stabilizes within 30 minutes, enabling quick monitoring. The lightweight 4.5g sensor can be worn for up to 15 days, is water-resistant for everyday activities, and features an integrated sensor-applicator design for easy application.

Barozen Fit Professional is available exclusively for use in medical institutions and is eligible for reimbursement, reducing patient costs. Healthcare providers can access and analyze patient glucose data through the Barozen Care app, utilizing clinical metrics such as time-in-range, average glucose, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation for comprehensive monitoring and analysis.
